Our Colorful Patio Reveal

We created a colorful patio with the help of At Home! This post is sponsored by At Home.

The patio is finally complete! We recently made some pretty major changes by adding color to our bland back patio: we painted our backdoor, painted the patio concrete floor, and added new color changing lights! Once that was done, we had a blank, albeit colorful, slate to decorate! It was time to replace our pallet couch, so we headed to At Home to pick out some new patio furniture!

We love to shop at At Home because of the sheer size of the store – no matter what you’re looking for to decorate your home you will find it here! There are aisles and aisles of every category so no matter what room you’re shopping for, you’ll find something to fit your style and budget. They had several different patio furniture styles to choose from and we went with a new couch and chair from their Venice Collection. Because At Home develops their own products directly with manufacturers and sells in a no-frills warehouse (without salespeople!) we were able to get on trend furniture, quickly and easily, AND took it home that day! The hardest part was fitting it in the car!

Here are the new items we added to our colorful patio from At Home:

• Beautiful new couch and matching chair to create a comfortable and casual seating area.
• An end table for a place to set drinks. We opted for an end table instead of a coffee table to save space.
• New layered rugs to bring in more color and texture.
• Lanterns for beautiful candle lit accents at night.
• New pots for tropical plants. (The plants seriously make the space complete!)
• A hanging basket – can’t forget the ceiling!

Of course, we get the patio finished just in time for the hottest time of the year here in Houston, TX! Luckily we have 2 ceiling fans on the patio and recently bought a new industrial fan from Lowe’s that REALLY helps keep us comfortable out here! Come fall and I’ll basically be living out here.
