I sometimes grow strange attachments to things. There are times I’d rather hold onto or hoard something than use it. I do this with office supplies (soooo many cute notebooks) and I also do it with vinyl! I think one of my aversions to using it is the fear of messing it up and wasting it! I know I’m not alone in this fear! I even go so far as to save all my scrap vinyl in hopes I can use them someday! Well I finally came up with a project to use up those scrap pieces: DIY kitchen organization labels!
I used up my vinyl scraps by printing these kitchen labels for the canisters on my kitchen counter. I’m slowly transitioning our panty into cohesive/matching storage containers but that tends to be expensive so we are doing it slowly rather than all at once.
I had a hard time finding cute kitchen canisters that I liked to hold my sugar and flour so I got these simple plastic containers with differently colored lids. We’ve been using them for a few years, and after a little powder mishap I decided to label them so there’s no confusion!
I designed these labels in the Cricut Design studio. I started with an oval frame that I resized so it would fit on my vinyl scraps, and added the text for the canisters I had out.
Don’t have a Cricut? Get one today! There are so many amazing things you can do with them!
I created 12 labels you can use to organize your pantry by adding these kitchen organization labels to your canisters and and containers in your pantry. You can open this file in the Cricut Design studio and cut these labels for your own kitchen!
