Are you a paper planner or have you converted to using a digital day book? I use a mix of both. I like to have my appointments on my iPhone and Outlook calendar so Siri can remind me and I can see it when I’m at work.
However, when it comes to planning I’m a big picture kinda gal. As I began planningย for the One Room Challenge, I decided I really wanted to have a BIG wall calendar. I want something large that will help me plan my blog posts and serve as a reminder for my business goals.
Where do you turn to for inspiration? Pinterest of course! I rounded up someย pretty awesome wall calendar ideas and I’ve linked them below for you!
Wall Calendar Inspiration
Washi Tape Calendar : You could probably get this calendar put up in a single afternoon with materials you already have! Just a bit of washi tape and some sticky notes and you’ve got yourself a calendar!
Paint Chip Calendar: Here’s another one you could probably do with materials you have + plus a quick trip to the hardware store for paint chips! Easily customizable to fit any color scheme!
Lucite Calendar: This calendar is amazingly chic but SUPER expensive. Could probably figure out a way to DIY!
DIY Sticky Note Calendar: So simple yet so effective. I use sticky notes constantly and would love to use them on a large wall calendar. They could be swapped out very easily and if you need to move a project or task to a different day, just move the sticky note! This is also renter friendly ๐
Chalkboard Wall Calendar: This calendar makes quite a statement! I especially love the large wooden letters to indicate the day of the week. I do worry the chalk would get messy though.
Roll of Butcher Paper: What a neat idea! You could get the materials relatively cheap, and could constantly keep your calendar updated. Just roll out the butcher paper for a new week or month at at time!
Cork Wall Calendar: This is probably my favorite calendar. You could easily pin tickets, receipts, itineraries, etc. to this board to keep up with them. It’s easily customizable and could be updated frequently. Put together with cork tiles.
Paper Wall Calendar: I’ve seen this calendar all over the internet. Unfortunately they are sold out ๐ You could easily DIY with large sheets of paper and vinyl numbers.
Dry Erase: My roommate in college had a board like this! It’s easy to update, but a bit bland. But if you like simple, this is the calendar for you!
Which calendar is your favorite? What are you using in your home office?

We take large desk calendar and put magnet strips on the back and hang it on our fridge. We keep appointments, work schedules, meal plans and school activities on it.
