Make your own coconut lime sugar scrub with ingredients you have on hand! This recipe takes less than 5 minutes to create.
I can’t smell coconut without picturing a beach. As soon as I smell it, I can practically feel the ocean breeze and taste the pina coladas. This month’s Ready, Set, Craft! challenge item is mason jars. I created a coconut lime sugar scrub that will leave your skin smooth and moisturized and hopefully help you relax a little! I got the idea from Thrive Blog Conference, where we made Rose Body Scrub at the Friday night kickoff party. Because I was short on time, I used ingredients I already had in the kitchen to create this quick DIY: coconut lime sugar scrub.
Coconut Lime Sugar Scrub
Make your own coconut lime sugar scrub with ingredients you have on hand! This recipe takes less than 5 minutes to create.
Instructions
- Combine coconut oil and sugar in a small bowl.
- Zest lime and stir it into the oil and sugar mixture.
- Spoon into mason jar and keep closed tightly when not using.
This is a quick DIY that takes less than 5 minutes. This “recipe” is for one jar, but can easily be double, tripled, etc. to make multiple coconut lime sugar scrubs to use as gifts or as a special treat for yourself. Coconut oil has tons of benefits and the sugar scrub will leave your skin amazingly smooth. If you use essential oils, you could easily add in a few drops.
Sugar scrubs are simple to make and can easily be customized with different scents and ingredients. Check out the live DIY I did where I shared 4 different sugar scrub options:
I’ve also created a free printable for you to label your jars. Simply click the DOWNLOAD button below, save the PDF, print and enjoy!

I love the smell of limes and coconut! My expensive stuff went bad though to be honest it had been a while since i last used it. Been wanting to make a new sugar scrub but hadn’t decided which scent to use.
I also used the juice from one lime 馃檪
