This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of At Home. All opinions are 100% mine.
It’s officially the most wonderful time of year! Thanksgiving is behind us (literally after all that stuffing) and we are now ready to welcome the advent season! It’s a little hard to get in the Christmas mood living in Houston with all the palm trees and warm weather. Usually, I’m not one to complain about the warmth but I would really love to see some snow! Last year it snowed on Christmas morning, but we had to drive all the way back to Oklahoma to see it. This year we will be in even sunnier Mexico so I wanted to bring a little winter charm to our home. Thanks to At Home Christmas Decor we were able to find everything we needed to turn our home into a winter wonderland!
Since this is our 1st Christmas in our very first house we needed a new tree to celebrate. At Home has over 101 different styles of Christmas Trees to choose from! That can be a little overwhelming so they created a Buying Guide to help you pick the perfect tree for your home! We chose a beautiful 7.5 foot Emmerson Spruce tree and it fit perfectly in the nook (or “keeping room”) off the kitchen. I still haven’t figured out what to do with that space so I loved how the tree filled up the area. We also grabbed a small orange tree from the “sports collection” that Eric is going to deck out with OSU decor! From classic styles to neon trees and everything in between, At Home has a “Tree for Me“.
I used a combination of silver and gold ornaments, some gorgeous gold/glitter herringbone ribbon, and a mix of ornaments from the “Snowcapped Scene” theme from the At Home holiday collections. My two favorite finds were the extra large snow flakes and the polar bear ornament (any LOST fans in the house!?). They have several different themes to choose from – my other favorites and close seconds to the Snowcapped Scene were the Peppermint Jazz and Cherished Memories collections.
Do you change up your holiday style from year to year or stick with the same decor each year? Which At Home Christmas decorative theme would you choose?
