The Katy Wellness Centre and Well Polished Salon

Last week I had the opportunity to join a group of Houston Bloggers for a Girls Night Out at Katy Wellness Centre and Well Polished – A Natural Beauty Bar. It was a jam packed evening full of demonstrations and tours of the facility. With my history of back pain I was really looking forward to finding out more about the facility and what they offer.

The Katy Wellness Centre offers comprehensive services: Chiropractic, Spa Massage, and Acupunture + Chinese Medicine. I see a Chiropractor regularly and it was a treat to have a quick adjustment that evening! The massage therapist were amazing and I literally fell asleep during the hot stone foot massage! My favorite part was meeting Eileen van Vulpen, the acupuncturist. She was so sweet and knowledgeable and spent a lot of time explaining things to us. I even got to try having an acupuncture needle inserted! I immediately felt a wave go over my body and it was instant relaxation. I am looking forward to having a full treatment done and to see if it makes a difference for my back pain!

Well Polished – A Natural Beauty Bar offers natural nail care and waxing. They are an eco-friendly salon and the first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell. It smelled really good inside! It didn’t smell strongly of acetone and chemicals like I’m used to in nail salons. We were greeted by a helpful and knowledgeable staff and got to try a bunch of their products. I can’t wait to get a facial done here! I also want to come back for their “happy hour” – you get a discount if you bring a friend 🙂
