A couple of weekends ago I had some free time and decided to make a new wreath for our front door. Since the closest holiday is Independence Day I made a patriotic wreath. The best part: the bow is interchangeable so come Christmas time I’ll swap it out for a festive holiday one! I used the tutorial here that I found on Pinterest.
DIY Burlap Wreath
Materials Needed:
Wire Wreath
Burlap Ribbon
Coordinating Pipe Cleaners (cut in 2 inch sections)
Bow or embellishments
Instructions:
Step 1:
To start, attach an end of the burlap ribbon under the edge of the wire wreath with a section of pipe cleaner.
Step 2:
Next, loop under the different sections of the wire wreath creating loops (whatever size you like) then attach with the pipe cleaners. Twist the burlap to hide the pipe cleaners. Do as many as you can per section so it stays nice and tight.
Step 3:
Continue on until you reach all the way around!
