So I haven’t been updating like I thought I would be able to! I had a good weekend and an even better Valentine’s day! I spent the weekend in Dallas watching Eric play Ultimate Frisbee. It would have been a LOT better had the weather been nicer. It was literally freezing. But Eric’s team played really well and ended up with 6th place out of 23 teams. I spent most of the time bundled up in the car watching from a distance with another girl Grace. We had fun hanging out and went downtown and ate lunch and explored a little bit as well.
Yesterday Eric and I celebrated Valentine’s day. He had night class so I knew we wouldn’t get to spend a lot of the evening together but he made of for that with breakfast, lunch, AND dinner! He made me french toast for breakfast, took me to Red Rock for lunch (one of my favorite places!), and made spaghetti for dinner. It was quite a treat! He also put a lot of thought into my presents that wouldn’t make sense if I told you anyway; but I really appreciated them 🙂
I will share with you the gift I made for him. It was DIY (of course!) and I could tell he REALLY liked it and appreciated it which made me really happy!
I went by Hobby Lobby and picked up the supplies. When I saw the compass stamp I knew I had to get it! I found a quote I liked and thought was fitting and stamped it on the cover.
I also stamped his initals on the back and added a little note inside.
